Color My Monday... Blue

I decided to start out with my husband's favorite color for the first week of Color My Monday. So, here's a glimpse of my world in blue.

The design is on a clay pot I have had for years. My best friend and I bought it on a shopping spree at Big Lots one spring. It is one of the few planters to make it through the move from my old house and currently houses a clump of chives that is at least 4 years old.

It wouldn't be a post about blue without the inspirer of all inspirers -- the big blue sky. This is the view (almost) straight up from my patio last night.

A blue comb in my daughter's hands. It's amazing but while I was looking for beautiful blue things I almost missed the most beautiful thing of the evening right in front of me.

I have been wanting new patio furniture for a while now and with my return to working part time, I decided it was time to treat myself. This is my beautiful blue umbrella.

Whenever I treat myself, my daughter ends up getting treated too. This little tug boat was floating in her new water play table.

One of the best things on Earth is that oh-so-perfect pair of blue jeans. They fit perfectly and you'll probably wear them until the only things left are tatters. But it doesn't matter. So, my last glimpse of blue in my world are my daughter and husband hanging out in their blue jeans.
