Pumpkin Patch Crochet-Along Nominations!

Hooray! Our pumpkin patch is ready for harvest! It's finally time to pick the best pumpkins from the patch for our pumpkin contest!

Here's what you need to do:
Visit the Flikr group and talk a "walk" through our pumpkin patch. While you're doing that, keep in mind that you can only nominate one pumpkin photo in each category. Your nomination should also fall into one of the following categories:
  • Most Creative Idea: For this category, you're looking at the idea -- not necessarily the implementation. For example, let's say that someone came up with a way to make a pumpkin into a time machine. The stitching may not necessarily be perfect, but the idea is really, really cool.
  • Best Pumpkin Photo: This category includes all those awesome and adorable pumpkin photos in the group. It could be a group of pumpkins, a funny shot, whatever. Again, the pumpkins in this photo don't necessarily have to be the best-made or the most perfect -- it's the picture that counts.
  • Best Pumpkin Overall: This is the one where the pumpkin itself counts. Pick the most beautiful, most amazing, best pumpkin in the patch.
Once you've chosen your pumpkins, it's time to submit your nominations. Just use my nomination form and paste the URL for the pumpkin photos you want to nominate.

And just a little reminder -- you don't have to be a crochet-along participant to nominate or vote -- so let's hear from everyone!

Nominations will be open until midnight EST on 10/28/2010. After that, it'll be time to vote for the best pumpkins in the patch! Good Luck!

That's it!

  4. I see. You don't need to copy the entire picture, Joan. Just the web address for the picture. That's the thing at the top of the browser that starts with "http://www.flikr.com"

    Does that help?
