Where have YOU been?

OK, I really hate "where have you been" blog posts, but I figure I owe everyone at least a little explanation for the silence on my end of the line. I've spent the last two weeks in intensive planning for one of the two shows I do each year - Oddmall. (LOL. Actually, it's kind of funny... both of my two shows are Oddmall!)

This time around I have been crocheting my fingers off making doves, monkeys, toads, owls, fuzzy whazzits, and well... I've lost track of the rest! I am really excited about what I have ready for the show and I invite anyone in the area to swing by the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in Hudson, OH. In addition to preparing for Oddmall, I've been putting together the still-somewhat fuzzy details of my first crochet-along/optional swap. I'll be co-hosting with Becky (of the Strumpet's Crumpets) and we've decided to do my owl pattern. You can expect the official announcement in the next week or so (once the dust settles from Oddmall) and as a special sign-up bonus, I'll give free copies of my owl pattern to the first 10 people who sign up!

I'm super excited to see how everyone will interpret this pattern!

Last but not least, as part of the Etsy Plus Team, I'll be participating in the 2010 San Mateo Maker Faire coming up in two weeks (May 22-23). I'm not completely sure what I'm sending just yet, but you can count on there being plenty of amazing plush at the Plush Team table -- not to mention hands-on classes by some of our amazing plush designers! I really wish I could be there in person because it's going to be one amazing event!
