During her last visit, my sister-in-law introduced me to a little game called Angry Birds. The basic premise is that you have these birds who are angry with some pigs for stealing their eggs (presumably, so the pigs can make bacon and eggs... creepy, yes... I know.) To get even with the pigs, the birds use a slingshot to fling themselves at the pigs (and the pigs' protective constructs), thus killing themselves and the pigs. Well, at least that's the goal.
Despite the somewhat strange story line, this game is ridiculously addictive. I've even caught my husband trying to teach our daughter to play!
Well, add this recent addition to my lifelong addiction and you get this...
Oh my. I showed it to hubby. Now I have to make it.ReplyDelete
I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry!
...all kidding aside, thanks for sharing it! It's hilarious!
he looks very(cute)angry.ReplyDelete
Oh no YOU DID NOT! I just saw this, and made that "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" sound that scared my husband. But now, I can't even show it to him because I am going to have to make it first!!!ReplyDelete
Angry birds makes me crazy, and mostly because I've completed all of the levels and I want MORE MORE MORE!!!
This is AWESOME!!! :)ReplyDelete
Thanks a bunch for sharing this...
I already have a list of friends (my boyfriend being the first) who have 'ordered' me to make one for them (they don't 'request' for such stuff.... it's like i HAVE to make it for them)
Are you planning on making the others??
Thanks for all the kind comments folks! I really had a lot of fun making this guy... and yes. There will be more!ReplyDelete
He is so funny! I've never heard of the game but I love the expression on his face - he sure looks angry.ReplyDelete
He is so awesome! great job on giving him so much expression.ReplyDelete
Looks awesome! Guess what I was googling... Great that there's a pattern available, I'm not great on working without one :)ReplyDelete
I suspect that one of these birds will be my children's favorite Christmas present this year. This game has caught on in a huge way at my house. I can't wait for patterns for the other birds!ReplyDelete
Thanks you so much for your pattern!ReplyDelete
I hooked one up for my fella for Christmas & he loved it!
If I hear "wee! wee!" one more time I'll scream! LOL!
Oh my god! You read my mind! Yesterday I was thinking I should try to crochet one, and here you are, saving me the trouble of thinking how exactly to do it. Thanks a lot!!!ReplyDelete
