How could Daphna have known that I was already hard at work on a dove pattern? Great minds, I tell you. Great minds.

So, without further ado, I'd like to announce my newest pattern -- Amigurumi Doves. The doves featured in this pattern are of the same pattern that I used for my Schmancy Olympic Challenge entry, but simplified in their decorations. Of course, there's no reason you can't go wild with your feather decorations!

While doing a little research for my pattern, I discovered that there are all kinds of wonder varieties of doves and pigeons (by the way, the two are of the same family and generally interchangeable). The pattern includes pictures of some pretty exotic birds to inspire you, but here are a couple of my favorites to whet your appetites:
