For a while now, I have known about the annual PlushYou exhibition run by Schmancy Toys and I'm so jealous of the plush artists that are recognized in their blog. These people are amazingly talented and even include some of mu PlushTeam peeps, like Scrumptious Delight and Yummy Pancake. But today I joined the ranks of recognized plush artists with my own mini feature -- woohoo!
Coincidentally, the mini feature comes on a day that I spent most of the afternoon working on my prototype for the Schmancy Olympic Challenge. For those of you who are wondering, my assignment is "opening ceremonies," and the perfect subject has been driving me nuts for the better part of a month.
No photos of the prototype but I am glad I did it. I learned a few things that should make my actual submission that much better. Well, I'm off to get some crochet done!
By the way... in case you were wondering, the deadline for submissions was moved out from 2/26 to mid-March, so I still have some time :-)
