I found this link on one of the blogs I visit today and I had to share. It's a web-based application that allows you to tinker with the proportions of an amigurumi character and then PRESTO! It gives you crochet instructions! I have not had a chance to try out the instructions I got from the pattern maker, but with the exceptions of giving measurements in cm and using some non-standard abbreviations (st = sc), it looks like a great tool.
If any of you have the chance to try it out, let me know how it works. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it after the holidays when things slow down a little!
