Blog Buddy Swap

One of the blogs I read almost every day is by a gal named Becky in Tampa, FL. It's called Strumpet's Crumpets, and it's full of amazing cute ideas and the crazy stuff that goes on in Becky's life.

Becky is kind of like a kindred spirit. She has a taste for cute things and likes them even better when they're just a little bit... well, off. She's a creative type who sews, quilts, embroiders, and... well pretty much everything, so I was really excited when she agreed to do a blog buddy swap with me.

Her request was an amigurumi version of her dog, Mickey (shown with his look-alike cookie jar). I've been plotting and sketching and last night, I finally started on my prototype Mickey. So far, so good... but I know the muzzle is going to give me one heck of a challenge!

I'll keep you posted with the progress -- maybe even get Mickey into a pattern I can share with y'all.
