I met bigblueeyes through one of the social networking sites I participate in, Cafemom. Cafemom has an Etsy Street Team of its own, called the Cafemom Street Team (click here to see some of the great new items from the Cafemom Street Team or type "cafemom team" in the Etsy search bar).
Like when I worked with S. Kate Hutchinson of Spindle Cat Studio, working with bigblueeyes (who is also an Etsy seller herself) was very enlightening. She liked the drinkin' bunny idea with the adjustable cup/can cozy but wanted to go with the monkey pattern instead. That was the easy part...
Bigblueeyes also explained that her husband is a University of Texas fan and would really love a longhorn themed set. It took a couple of tries, but I came up with a longhorn buddy and an orange & white cozy to match. Here's a shot of the set up close:
I'm thrilled that I was able to capture the longhorn style in this set and I'm already thinking about some other college/university drinkin' buddies. Maybe a Brutus the Buckeye, anyone?
