I have to admit - I am really surprised about the number of responses I got on my Mini Monday Rant. This morning as I mused over my coffee, I starting looking around so I could post some follow-up with more about pricing in relation to amigurumi and/or knit/crochet crafts.
I went through the Etsy Storque and started skimming the forums but then had an idea -- what if there is an amigurumi street team that I can ask?
Would you believe there ISN'T one?
I really want to start one, but Etsy asks that you have a couple of like-minded people who are willing to join before you request a new team. So, I thought I'd start with some of my fabulous readers.
Right now, I'm not asking for any commitments -- just whether you're willing to join. I need to think about the team structure and some other stuff before all that can happen and that definitely won't happen until after my show this weekend.
So... anyone interested?
As of yet, I am not a seller on etsy... I can't seem to get any thing made without some one wanting to buy it right away... (I'm not complaining, but really, I'd like to start my own shop soon.) BUT if/when I do start selling I would be completely interested in being on an amigurumi street team. Sounds like a fabulous idea.
