Latest Project - Threadknits Competition

I've recently been working on a project that I plan to enter in the Threadknits competition. The whole thing is a really clever idea by the folks at Threadless Tees. Here's how it works:
  1. You go to the Threadless Tees web site, browse through their designs, and pick one (or two or three) that inspire you. Be careful, though -- there are a lot of AWESOME designs on the site and I found myself shelling out for more than one of the tee shirts!
  2. Adapt the tee shirt design into an original knit or crochet work.
  3. Enter the Threadknits competition by submitting pictures of your project.
I selected the Clean Monster design by Jean-Sébastien Deheeger for my project -- as a total neat freak known for my "cleaning hissy fits," the Clean Monster just really speaks to me. And yes, for those of you who are curious -- I did treat myself to the tee shirt.

I'm on the finishing touches for my design so I'm not going to spill what it is just yet. But, I promise to share pictures when it's done. The idea is pretty versatile, and it's got me thinking about a new line for The Itsy Bitsy Spider too.

Am I driving you crazy yet with anticipation? Well, you're just going to have to wait a little bit longer!
