Free Pattern Sunday: Koala by RoxieCraft

One of the first amigurumi books I purchased was Tiny Yarn Animals: Amigurumi Friends to Make and Enjoy by Tammie Snow. I was enchanted by the tiny bears, lions, and especially by Snow's little Koala pattern.

As it turns out, the staff Woman's Day magazine also adores Snow's Koala and published the pattern for free! The pattern link is actually a page from Snow's book, so it really gives you a feel for her other patterns. While Snow uses some abbreviations that may not be familiar, once you get used to her lingo, her patterns are easy to follow and work up for adorable little amigurumi.

Snow's web site (www.RoxyCraft.com) also offers a selection of free patterns. Being an owl fan myself, I really want to try her "Woody the Owl" pattern.

If you've worked some of Snow's patterns -- free downloads or purchased, I'd love to see your stuff! Send your pictues in .JPG or .GIF format to ibscrochet@gmail.com!
