A while back, I did a crochet-along with this pattern and was absolutely wowed with the many interpretations on this pattern. New owl ideas are still being added to the Flikr group, which already includes owls with glasses, heart-shaped belly patches, and even a custom wing design from Lucy Bad Dog. I can't wait to see how your owls turn out!
The owls also go great with some of my other patterns -- especially my Log Cabin Carrier.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Stitches Used: Chain Stitch (CH), Single Crochet (SC), Half Double Crochet (HDC), Single Crochet Decrease (DECR), Slip Stitch (SL)

Yarn: Acrylic Sport Weight Yarn (although almost any yarn will do!)
